The Ferrari 849 Testarossa Spider introduces a new generation of plug-in hybrid spiders, designed to deliver high performance and engaging open-air driving. The “Testarossa” name draws on a 70-year heritage, now reinterpreted with advanced technology and a design that balances function and style. Its hybrid architecture pairs a mid-rear twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors for a total output of 1,050 cv, while maintaining interior comfort and refinement. The retractable hard top (RHT) opens in just 14 seconds at speeds up to 45 km/h, allowing drivers to enjoy Ferrari performance in any condition. The optional Assetto Fiorano package, aimed at those seeking maximum dynamic performance and reduced weight, features dedicated suspension, lightweight materials and enhanced aerodynamic solutions. The 849 Testarossa Spider stands at the top of Ferrari’s open-top range, supported by a seven-year maintenance programme and extended hybrid warranties, reflecting a commitment to reliability and long-term value.

The 849 Testarossa Spider advances Ferrari’s design language with sharp lines and functional aerodynamic solutions. The front features a bridge-like fascia linking the headlamps, while the twin-tail rear and sculpted doors optimise airflow to intercoolers and brakes. The retractable hard top maintains the coupé’s volumes and, when open, highlights the double tail and powerful rear forms. The active rear spoiler is seamlessly integrated, adjusting downforce to suit different driving conditions. Forged wheels with aerodynamic spokes further enhance efficiency. Inside, a horizontal dashboard is combined with single-seater-inspired details, such as the floating gated selector and a steering wheel with mechanical controls. The new-generation HMI, Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto® connectivity and wireless charging improve the onboard experience. Seats are available in comfort or carbon-fibre racing versions, while optimised packaging ensures ergonomics and practicality without compromising the car’s sporting identity.
